Family is one of our core values. Blending a family with 5 daughters was not easy especially since they all shared 1 bathroom when we married. It took a lot of work & it was chaotic at times. At one point, we had 5 girls in 5 different schools. We intentionally worked to create a family unit. We had family dinner night every Tuesday, church together most Wednesdays & worship together every other Sunday. It became harder as our girls aged & we navigated sports, activities, jobs, cars & college. For all the bumps in the road along the way, we consider our family to be our greatest blessing. We’ve added 3 sons-in-law & 1 beautiful granddaughter. Our girls remain close & we stay connected through phone calls, FaceTime & a group text titled “FAM BAM.”
